The ASWB Clinical exam is the clinical social-work licensing test used for LCSW (or equivalent) in most U.S. jurisdictions. As of 3 August 2026 it is 122 questions (110 scored + 12 pretest) in 4 hours on three content areas. UniPrep’s check is a shorter 60-question / 75-minute diagnostic (free 25-question version) on clinical assessment, diagnosis concepts, psychotherapy, and ethics. Independent prep — not ASWB material. Not Bachelors/LSW and not Masters-only LMSW.
